The last time V and I traveled to New York Rachel Bilson was ahead of us in customs wearing a hat like this. During the trip we looked for one (which we now call the 'Bilson Hat') but kept coming up empty handed. In February we're heading down to Mexico where I'm hoping to shoot the Spring lookbook and would LOVE to find a hat like this for the shoot. Do any of you have any suggestions as to where I can grab one before we leave?
most of these are just pretty wide brim fedoras, but with a worn in & turned down brim. def thrift shops. look for fur instead of wool http://www.villagehatshop.com/fur-felt-fedoras.html the brim wont be so.. chunky that way?
or ebay i think the key with these is just getting the brim to flip the way you want...
Ugh yes, I've been looking too! Except I'm in New Zealand, which makes things 10x harder. It's not cheap mailing a hat abroad ha. I'm going to check out all these links though :)
you know I was looking for one of these hats for YEARS and had just given up when lo and behold I found one in top shop of all places. Now I want one in all of the colours!

Try Eugenia Kim?
You should really check out some thrift shops in your area. I've seen some gorgeous ones.
