Walking through Gastown the other day I stumbled into the lovely shop Oak + Fort. Filled with slouchy silhouettes, a gorgeous neutral palette and just right accessories I can only hope they open another location in Toronto. Pretty please?

Two years ago V promised me a serger for my birthday - I just got it yesterday.

It was worth the wait.

TANENBAUM

I am a huge sucker for Christmas but for the last few years we haven't bothered with a tree since at least one of us has been traveling over the holiday season. This year we decided to take the plunge and purchased a tiny potted tree that fills me with joy every time I turn it on.

NYC

The One of a Kind show wrapped up on Sunday and V and I rewarded ourselves with a short trip to New York. We managed to visit during some seriously rainy weather but as a result rediscovered the city for all of it's indoor potential. When was the last time you spent an entire day in the Natural History Museum?

We saw friends, ate great food, stayed in the world's smallest hotel room, fondled fabrics (thanks for the great tip Jenny!) and came home happy.

We will be out of the studio for the next few days so any order placed after 7pm EST tonight will not ship until December 12th. We are happy to arrange faster (though more expensive) shipping to those that miss the deadline.
