DRIFTWOOD ADVENTURES
I am shooting my Spring 2011 look book today and I thought it would be nice to include some driftwood into the shots. As you know my driftwood scavenging was unsuccessful in Vancouver and so I sent V out yesterday to see what he could gather from the bleak edges of Lake Ontario.
In a high of -5.
In worn down sneakers and a light wool jacket.
Yes that's right - I have the best, if not a little ill prepared, boyfriend in the world. He returned four hours later with no feeling in his fingers and toes and a haphazard collection of tree branches which, while missing a sense of sun bleached beachness, still contain a certain something.
Hopefully they work in the shoot and his heroics do not go unsung.

damn. that's some love right there! I can already image how these images will turn out - excited!
I agree; that's love. I love the way they look inside. So out of place, itching for a story to tell. I wish you luck with the shoot!
